Business Meetings and Programs: 

You are invited to join us at 12:30 pm for light refreshments and conversation before our Garden Club meeting begins promptly at 1:00 pm followed by our featured guest speaker on the first non-Holiday Monday of the month of April, May, June, September, October, November. 

Location:  Gilford Community Church, Downstairs Hall, Potter Hill Road, Gilford.

Program:  "Garden Party Picnic" hosted by the Executive Board.  A Garden Club Member demonstrated fresh flower arranging in vases - for members to make and take home their own arrangements.   Opechee Garden Club President Esther Kratochvil presented the cherished "Opechee Garden Club Orchid Award for Exemplary Service for 2025 - 2026" to garden club and executive board member Patti Flodin of Alton, NH -  Patti received a beautiful orchid plant of her own as well as our club's engraved hand cut Pepi Herrmann Crystal vase which has been passed along from year to year to an outstanding member of the Club for their enjoyment during the new calendar year.  A special thank you in appreciation of the members positive impact and dedication to the Opechee Garden Club and it's members.  A cherished honor only one member is selected to receive each year and well deserved.  Join our Club, participate, make a positive impact on our members and community - YOU could be the next recipient!

July 11, 2026 Biennial Opechee Garden Club 2026 Garden Tour
"Beyond the Garden Gate"  Saturday between 10 am - 2 pm, Rain or Shine
Tickets available for purchase in person only for $25 pp/max 300 being sold.  Ticket must be presented to access Gardens.  Ticket Locations:  Appletree Nursery, Beans and Greens Farm, Gilford Public Library, Laconia Public Library, Petal Pushers and Prescott's Florist.  Not sold on line.  
Includes Light Refreshments at the Laconia Public Library Civic Garden.
We are delighted to open our gates and share the beauty, inspiration and passion that grow within each of our gardens.  Ticket includes access to our community of private gardens here in the lakes region.  Each of the seven gardens delight the eyes and reflects the personality and vision of its caretakers, offering ideas for gardeners of all levels.  
Tour Tickets & Multiple Raffles/Grand Prize tickets will be available for purchase the day of the tour on July 11th starting at 9:00 am at the Laconia Public Library Civic Garden.  The Garden Tour begins at 10 am, ends at 2 pm the day of the event.  Grand Prizes and Raffles will be drawn at 2 pm.  Raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win.  See our home page and Current Event Photos here on our website for more details.  A public restroom is also available at the Laconia Library.
